when browsing through the new uploads on MP3Musicgrams.com I clicked on -Christopher B McCarty- "glimpse of God" out of curiosity with the name of the song. At first glance I thought it was one of several new gospel songs uploaded on the site. But it was definitely under the rock category.
Opening it and hearing it – it has tones of vocals and musically of the new Bob Dylan CD . Now , I am not saying this song is really directly comparable to the legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan- but it had a familiar tone to it.

here is a "definition" I found ...
Trance is a style of electronic dance music that developed in the 1990s. Trance music is generally characterized by a tempo of between 130 and 160 bpm, featuring repeating melodic synthesizer phrases, and a musical form that builds up and down throughout a track, often crescendoing or featuring a breakdown. Sometimes vocals are also utilised. The style is arguably derived from a combination of largely techno and house. 'Trance' got iits name from the repetitious morphing beats, and the throbbing melodies which would presumably put the listener into a trance-like state.

Rule #2: Know You're the Best

There's one difference to me between a truly successful person and an unsuccessful person, and that is that successful people know they are a successful. If you ever second guess your work or think that it's pretty good but you're not sure if it's the best then it isn't the best. Basically for being a musician your number one fan should always be yourself. If you think that your band is just ok or you find that you can't listen to your entire song without getting bored then make it the best. That's probably one of the most important things I've learned about the music business so far is that if you aren't 100% sure that you will be a success than for sure no one else will be. It's kind of like acting. A good actor learns to truly believe he is the character and a bad actor just thinks they are acting. So that is without a doubt rule #2 to living your rock and roll dream. You have to know you, your band, your music and every aspect of yourself if as good as it can possibly be.

Rule # 1 to living your rock and roll dream

Do you havea rock and roll dream of becoming a famous rock star who is idolized by thousands. Well I certainly do, and so I started Munch Music, a store which allows musicians and bands to make their rock and roll dreams a reality. Through my store I've learned a lot about the music business from the point of view of a musician, a song writer, a music store owner and a sound engineer. Now I'm not exactly the best at any of these roles or I would have already fufilled my dream, but I have learned enough to share with others who have dreams of being a rock and roll legend. Through this blog I hope to share what knowledge I can with others seeking theiur rock and roll fame and also add in some sweet stuff I've learnt from the various people I've met from the music business. Now, the fisrt rule that I've learnt so far is to get started. That means just start doing something to make your rock and roll dream more of a reality. This can be anything from practicing for ten hours a day, or starting to books shows for yourself or maybe even just starting to get more involved with yourt music community by working at a local music store. Whatever you do decide to do though, make sure at least you start doing it, beacuse I have learnt that there are a lot of people out there with a dream of being a rock star so you better make sure your starting as fast as possible or you may just get left behind. I hope the stuff I share will be of use to someone in becoming a big time rock legend and I will continue to share my knowledge and for any other musicians who have some knwoledge they'd like to share, please do so. So for all you aspiring rock stars, its time to start living your dream.
